Who really needs a lecturer
The right question is not “is the guide any good” but “what do I want to take away”. An ordinary Uffizi tour walks you past forty or so works and tells you who painted them. A Context tour takes on far fewer and tries to tell you why they were made the way they were.
It makes sense in four concrete cases. You have been to the Uffizi and a second visit bores you. You study or teach art history. You are travelling with older teenagers who ask real questions. You have a single-subject interest, Michelangelo for instance, and want three hours on it.

Then there is a factor nobody writes on a product page: groups are stated at up to ten or twelve people. With twelve people in a room at the Uffizi, the conversation with an expert becomes a lecture anyway. If dialogue is the point, check the number before the CV.

What drags it down is everything else. Thirty days for a full refund is a condition designed for a trip organised months ahead, not for how people book today; the dollars on the final price and the 50 dollars for a change complete the picture.
Would you pay three or four times the ticket price? At €215 against a €25 Uffizi entry you are paying eight times, and that only adds up if the expertise is the reason for the trip rather than a garnish on it. For most visitors it is not.
Book it if you already know what you want to go deeper on, if the date is certain and if the cost per person is not an issue. In every other case, an ordinary guided tour plus a free afternoon at the Uffizi on the €16 ticket from 16:00 leaves you more time, more freedom and a few hundred euro in your pocket.
