Musement is a Milan platform for tickets and experiences, now part of the TUI group and the engine of the TUI Musement division. For Florence it lists 332 experiences, 27 of them on the Uffizi, 27 on the Accademia and 22 on the Cathedral.
The verdict in two sentences: it is the only one of the big resellers that is a licensed Italian travel agency, with an Italian phone number and Italian law behind it, and it adds no service fees. But it sells the Uffizi at €31 or €44 against €29, and the “free cancellation” badges on the listings do not match what the product pages say.
It suits anyone who wants to be able to complain in Italian, to a company bound by the Italian Consumer Code. It does not suit anyone after the best price or the certainty of being able to call it off.
Disclosure: we are not affiliated with Musement and receive no commission from this platform. The official prices quoted come from the museums’ own sites and from the City of Florence.

The Italian catalogue and support in Italian
This is what sets it apart from every other platform in this series. Musement is an Italian travel agency with a regional licence: its conditions are governed by Italian law and the Consumer Code, the phone has an Italian dialling code and the chat answers in Italian fourteen hours a day.
That is not a bureaucratic detail. If a booking goes wrong, the complaint is written in your own language to a company based in Milan, instead of ending up in an English-language chat with jurisdiction in Berlin or Massachusetts. The company replies to 99% of negative reviews within 48 hours, and that responsiveness is documented.
The catalogue is accordingly the most Italian of the group: descriptions written in Italian rather than machine-translated, tours with guides who work with the domestic public, and products on the civic museums that the international platforms handle in passing.
There is a price point in its favour too, and an unusual one: no service fees are applied to these bookings. The price you see is the price you pay.
Prices compared: Uffizi, Accademia and the civic museums
On state museum tickets the sums do not work. Scheduled entry with an audio app to the Uffizi starts at €31.00 and the ticket with an audio guide at €44.00, against an official list of €29 in advance, €25 for the same day and €16 / €20 from 16:00. The same product on the US site is shown at 51 dollars: geolocation counts.
At the Accademia skip-the-line with an audio guide starts at €35.00 against the official €24 (€20 plus a €4 booking fee on B-ticket).
The civic museums are where the comparison is starkest, because the official price is low and presale costs next to nothing.
| Civic museum | Official price (City of Florence) | Online presale |
|---|---|---|
| Palazzo Vecchio | €18 (reduced 18–25 €12) | +€1 |
| Torre di Arnolfo | €20 (reduced €13) | +€1 |
| Brancacci Chapel | €15 (reduced €10) | +€1 |
| Museo Novecento | €13 (reduced €9) | +€1 |
| Bardini Museum | €10 (reduced €7) | +€1 |
| Santa Maria Novella | €7.50 (reduced €5) | +€1 |
Nineteen euros all in for Palazzo Vecchio is the number to keep in mind. On Musement plain admission does not exist: the dedicated page lists fourteen experiences and they are all guided visits or audio tours, with the cheapest guided visit at €47.00 at the time of checking. That is not a mark-up on the ticket, it is a different product — but anyone searching “Palazzo Vecchio tickets” may not notice. The official ticket office is the city’s own, and booking for Palazzo Vecchio, the Torre di Arnolfo and the Brancacci is compulsory anyway: we explain it on our civic museums page.

A useful reminder about opening hours, because it is the most expensive mistake: Palazzo Vecchio opens 9–19 but on Thursdays it closes at 14:00, and the tower stays shut when it rains, with no refund. At the Medici Chapels the state ticket costs €11.
Musement cancellation, refunds and support
This is where the platform loses most credibility. The listing pages carry a “Free cancellation” badge, but open either of the Uffizi product pages and you read that no refund, change or cancellation can be offered, because of the supplier’s terms.
The explanation is in the structure of the relationship: Musement acts as agent, the service belongs to Slow Tour or ACCORD ITALY SMART TOURS, and the policy applied is theirs. The general conditions add that no refund is due if you arrive late.
The practical advice is simple: on Musement’s site, the line on the product page always beats the label on the search page. Read it before you pay.
What the reviews say
At the time of checking Trustpilot gives Musement 4.0 out of 5 from 32,312 reviews: 62% five stars, 7% one star. The score is average, but the more telling figure is another: only 362 reviews in the last twelve months out of more than thirty-two thousand in total. Review activity has collapsed, which suggests volumes are falling sharply.
The recent negative reviews describe concrete operational problems: a pick-up that never arrived with no proactive contact, a local contact cancelling hours before the visit, a cancellation handled by messaging with the refund arriving after more than three weeks and emails left unanswered, site crashes with failed payments, and an interface that makes it easy to pick the wrong date.
Pros and cons
In favour
- An Italian travel agency with licence no. 170695 and Italian law applying.
- Phone support in Italian, extended chat hours and a reply to 99% of negatives within 48 hours.
- No service fee on museum bookings.
- TUI as parent company: corporate solidity and a catalogue written in real Italian.
Against
- Uffizi at €31 or €44 against €29; Accademia €35 against €24.
- “Free cancellation” badges contradicted by the pages of the main products.
- Only 362 reviews in twelve months: a sign of falling volumes.
- An inconsistency between the company name in the footer and the one in the terms.
Verdict
3 out of 5. Musement is the platform an Italian consumer should in theory prefer: licence, phone, language and law are all on its side, and the absence of service fees is a rare and welcome fact.
The problem is that those advantages are paid for twice: once in euros, with the highest reseller prices on the state museums, and once in clarity, because a badge promising free cancellation on a non-refundable product is the thing that convinces us least in this whole review. The collapse in recent reviews does not help.
If you need an Italian point of contact for a tour, it makes sense. For an admission ticket to a Florence museum, no: the official channel costs less and the cheaper resellers cost less too.
Alternatives
For museum tickets with an instant voucher and a wider catalogue look at Tiqets; for tours and experiences with free cancellation at 24 hours and an Italian call centre there is GetYourGuide; for Tuscan day trips with the highest number of reviews, Viator.
For the municipal museums, though, the advice is one thing only: buy from the city. Prices, opening hours and rules are on Palazzo Vecchio and civic museums.

Frequently asked questions
Is Musement legit?
It is an Italian company in the TUI group, with travel agency licence no. 170695 from the Lombardy Region, phone support in Italian and a reply to 99% of negative reviews within 48 hours. Trustpilot gives it 4.0/5 from 32,312 reviews at the time of checking. It is the channel with the most solid legal cover among the platforms we analysed, but it is not the official ticket office of any museum.
Can Musement tickets be cancelled?
Often not, even when the listing shows a "free cancellation" badge. Both Uffizi product pages state that no refund, change or cancellation can be offered because of the supplier's terms. Always read the line on the product page, not the label on the search results page.
Is Musement more expensive than the official site for the Uffizi?
Yes. Scheduled entry with an audio app starts at €31 and the ticket with an audio guide at €44, against the €29 of the official advance sale on tickets.uffizi.it and €25 for the same day. In exchange, Musement charges no service fee on these bookings.
Does Musement have support in Italian?
Yes, and it is its most concrete advantage. The Italian number is +39 02 81480473, open 10:00–18:00, with chat from 8:00 to 22:00 and a help centre. The conditions are governed by Italian law and the Consumer Code, so a complaint is made in Italy and in Italian.
Is it worth buying civic museum tickets on a platform?
Almost never. Palazzo Vecchio costs €18 on the City of Florence site plus €1 for online presale; on the platforms the same admission, with an audio or video guide, runs between €30 and €32. The official ticket office is bigliettimusei.comune.fi.it, and booking for Palazzo Vecchio and the Torre di Arnolfo is compulsory in any case.
Who supplies Musement's Uffizi tickets?
The listings say so: Slow Tour for the product with an audio guide and ACCORD ITALY SMART TOURS for scheduled entry with the app. Musement acts as the supplier's agent, and the refund policy it applies is the supplier's, not its own.
